Startplatz-Beschreibung
Easy Butte launch. Suitable for P2+ pilots in 5 to 10 mph winds.
Anfahrt
You can either hike up the Manastash Ridge trail, about 90 mins, or can drive around. Google Maps will try to take you through private property. Instead plug in Hansen Pond into your phone, and take Umptanum Road to the East. Your map should update to the correct road after you get up Umptanum. Go past Hansen Pond to the top of the Manastash Ridge Trail.
Wetter
The Kittitas Valey can often be windy. This site can be launched EXCEPT if the winds are from the East or South.
Regeln / Luftraum
This is on DNR land. If you drive to the top do not park in tall grass due to fire hazard. DNR always prefers we not put up alot of streamers, so if you do to mark the wind at launch please remember to remove them when retrieving your vehicle.
