Startplatz-Beschreibung

Large take off area at the top of Kibini hill. The hill is conical shaped with flatland all around. Plenty of choice and only a few trees!

Anfahrt

From Nairobi Head towards Mombasa. When you get to a town called Sultan Hammud. Take a right turn through the town and across a railway track. From here continue on a good dirt road to a factory of some sort. Take a rite then a left following a small track through maasai land to the hill. You can't miss it.

Wetter

Very strong conditions develop quickly! Thermals will develop from about 0800 hrs!

Regeln / Luftraum

1000 Ksh per vehicle to the top has to be paid to the maasia commtitee there. Have had real trouble sorting this site out. Sometimes coming across road blocks and men with rocks and spiers. This has now stopped.
