Startplatz-Beschreibung
Climb up the hill through the bush (20 minutes max), you'll find it.
Anfahrt
From the motorway (Grand Baie - Port Louis), take Montagne Longue, turn right at \'La croisee Montagne Longue\', before the actual village of Montagne longue, turn right on \'Ducray Street\', and last right in a sugar cane dirt track. Park your car when there are no more habitations, next to a couple of eucalyptus.
Regeln / Luftraum
Airplanes can fly anywhere in Mauritius, but the actual ceiling is 4000 ft. Planes usually don't fly between Montagne Longue and the Pieter Both.
Kommentare
Classic \'XC\': go to the top of Pieter Both and back. From Pieter Both, can keep going down the Moka Range (Pouce, Ory), with luck, get good altitude there and then to Corps de Garde, same to Montagne du Rempart ... by NE or breeze regime.
