Startplatz-Beschreibung

This site was abandoned by it's French owners due to the First Ivorian Civil war (2002-7). It will need to be weeded. Cost estimate €20 for a day's work.

Anfahrt

Park car at RTI TV antenna 2km to south and walk. A motorcycle can take you half way, 1km further. Or get a trail bike from the town of Man 100 km south. Daily rate perhaps €25 including driver.

Wetter

The wind comes from the East, so I'm not sure why this north facing site was created, or how it worked.

Regeln / Luftraum

Cleared for non-motorised flight by Paul head of Civil Aviation. Check with mayor of Touba. Local farmers appear OK. Site was flown in the 1990s by local expatriate residents.
