Startplatz-Beschreibung
An extension of the same ridge that forms Cats Tor, Shining Tor is the highest point in Cheshire at 1817ft (559m) and the highest Paragliding site in the Peak District. Park on the Buxton to Macclesfield road (A537) at the point marked MP on the OS map. t/b 300ft. Wind WSW-WNW. Peak Soaring Association site.
