Startplatz-Beschreibung
Take off from the dunes top at the end of a small foot path to a view point. Preserve the dunes and the grass as much as possible. Local authorities tolerate a take off, but no top landings. Land at the beach away from where the people are.
Anfahrt
Park at the southern parking lot between the trees. From the parking lot take a footpath straight to the west and then turn south after about 50 m onto a nature exploration path. Follow that path south and up onto the dunes to a view point about 400 m away. Take off from the top of the dune near the view point.
Wetter
Strong winds. Winds typically increase over the day and can reach well over 35 km/h even on bright sunny days.
Regeln / Luftraum
No top landing. No landing on beach in restricted areas marked by black/yellow signs.

(initialy imported from DHV XC Contest Leonardo) It is fun to fly many kilometers to the south and to the north along the dunes! Great soaring area! Local authorities are watchguarding the dunes closely and ticket pilots who are landing on the dunes. I've seen them calling the police for assistance. Therefore, no ground handling is possible like in Pyla.
