From the main road form Drama to Kavala after the village of Agios Athanasios turn left to village Kefalari cross the small river and at Ano Kefalari head for the north end of the village there is only one road going up the mountain

During summer June to September after 14:00 o clock the area bellow the take off is turbulent because of the sea breeze coming from the east
