Yelagiri is 160 kms from Bangalore & 220 kms from Chennai.National Highway number 7 ( NH 7)connects Yelagiri with both the cities.Nearest railway station is Jolarpet junction.Both Chennai & Bangalore have Internal airports.
Wetter
SW(June,July,Aug) & NE(Dec,Jan) monsoon season to be avoided.

Excellent quality accomodation is available at Yelagiri ...from budget to luxury. While Govt. run YATRI NIVAS caters to the budget traveller, a host of private resorts with varying comfort levels/ tariffs can be chosen from. Among the private resorts,SILENT WATERS is highly recommended.
