Winds > 20kmh from W - N: very turbulent; you'll be flying the lee side! If on a good day nobody is flying from there - there must be a good reason. Instead go to the Plain Joux site just 20km to the west (near Passy), most likely everybody will be there. Regeln / Luftraum
Do not fly to the west closer than 300m to the ground. >> July-August: be aware of no-fly-zone on south side of Chamonix (Mont Blanc -Aiguille du Midi)! (> see pix) >> LF R-30A active year round!! (> see pix!)
