Startplatz-Beschreibung

Small takeoff that really only has room for one wing at a time. Caution trees on both sides of takeoff and a metal fence at the bottom of the takeoff. But overall quite easy.

Anfahrt

Rough road to Jame's Taylor's Seat. Possible in 2WD but drive carefully. Foreigners need to pay a fee at the bottom of the road (approx 5km before takeoff) to access the Jame's Taylor's estate.

Wetter

Suny days are very good to fly. From November to April is best period to fly. Mid December to mid January it's raining, and need to see a good weather conditions

Regeln / Luftraum

All kinds of paragliding pilots must contact Mr Wasantha Dissanayake (+94772070045 or paraadventuresl@gmail.com) to get confirmation of the publication of NOTAM and approval from the Civil Aviation Authorities of Sri Lanka to fly at this site. Unauthorized flying activity will result in legal action

Probably quite a lot of XC potential here. Site situated on a N-S ridge that should have good thermic potential. Not sure what local regulations are for XC flights though.
