The walk along the signposted footpath to the top of Monte Santu Padre offers stunning views and a chance to appreciate the area's natural attractions. It is also a favourite spot for paragliders. The countryside of Bortigali is scattered with domus de janas, dolmens and tombs of the giants, many clustered round Monte Santu Padre.
