SSW wind. Hike and fly. DO NOT DESTROY FLORA!
Getting there
Park at bottom along main road or at golf course parking lot across the street/trees.
Weather
NOAA works best for this site. Look for SSW wind. Nothing else works.
Rules / airspace
This is a natural area so respect nature. No specific rules but observe weather. This site is only 17k from the La Crosse airport to the NE. DO NOT fly in that direction.
Comments
Do not land directly behind trees near the road. Land further back in field. Good XC potential. DO NOT FLY ON SSE wind as massive rotor! Watch wind sock closely as wind switches frequently. Small site so cannot take more than 3 gliders safe in the sky. Best is up and XC out.
