Take-off description
Top of tallest sand-dune.
Getting there
Drive towards Carcross. Pull off at the Carcorss Dessert sign. Hike 20 minutes to get across desert and up far side.
Comments
This is the smallest dessert in the world. This is a good learning site. It's too shallow for flying. Sand in gliders takes a while to get out.
