Take-off description
Jenzig is a site barely 10 min from downtown Jena and its tallest 'mountain'. Best site of the local club 'dgfc-jena', this orientation is northwest. Great site for soaring as well as thermalling - winter and summer. Do not consider this site if you are not absolutely certain of your take-off skills - you only have four steps and limited space on either side!
Rules / airspace
B-Scheinpflicht! which means in Germany: only for seasoned pilots - very short takeoff leading to a steep drop-off! Please make sure to contact one of the locals before flying for the first time.
