Take-off description
160 msl, beach site; small-ish take off, 60 X 50 mts, pro-top landing. This is one of the few sites in Taiwan where a large enough LZ is in full view of a suitable TOZ.
Getting there
train or bus from Taipei to Ilan, train or bus to To Cheung leaves you at the beach LZ. trains are infrequent but daily. email/Call Uncle fan for pick up, room accommodations, site fees, insurance, etc.
Weather
rainy winters, nice summers. transitions are thermic. But otherwise, prolonged sled rides. Watch those cross winds.

This is a foreigner friendly site, laid back and easy going people, someone speaks enough English to be cordial. Glider repairs if you need them. Uncle Fann used to have the only glider mfgr company in Taiwan.
