Take-off description
North - south 5000 foot taxiway plus 1000 foot grass area for take-off. Keep runway clear at all times. Also a smaller 3000' east - west turf runway available. Use/monitor 122.8 nav frequency for surrounding air traffic.

Drive to airport, right off I-10 interstate.
Weather
Western edge of Texas hill county. Drier air, bigger lift.
