Take-off description
small grass field surrounded by agricultural field, not always nice when it has rained a lot recently
Getting there
On A46 south of Neuss. Take A46 direction Aachen from BAB57 AK Neuss-West. Exit Grevenbroich-Kapellen, direction Kapellen, then exit left inside a turn, to the rocket station. Attention, arriving from the south on A46 you just have to go straigth after the motorway exit, then immediately left inside the right-turn.

Rules / airspace
controlled airspace at 2500MSL from Duesseldorf airport (DUS), elevated to 3500MSL only south of Grevenbroich (10 km), beware of other airspace relating to Moenchgladbach and cologne (CGN) airports nearby. Therefore not an ideal site for XC!
Comments
Quite centrally located and easily reachable winch site close to the Duesseldorf urban area. Actively used whenever weather permits, also in moderate winter. Used by a club and a school. Can be crowded on good weekends, relatively expensive towing fees due to good location.
