Take-off description
A lot of work has gone into clearing the launch. Thanks Karl. An old mining road will take you most of the way to Launch. There are three options. The first is a steep sloping launch, the second and third more gradual.
Getting there
Head south of Whitehorse past Jake's Corner.
Weather
Watch for converging weather between the two mountain ranges. This can cause big lift in the middle of the valley and making landing at the LZ almost impossible. Fly downwind out of the valley (10+ km) and out of the venturi to get into calmer wind and to get down.
Rules / airspace
There is an air corridor and air traffic can fly through the valley. Air-band radio recommended.
