Take-off description
465m high from takeoff to landing, grass covered slope, around 50m wide with initial gentle drop then short steep slope. Watch out for single phase power line running across back of take-off - it powers the cell phone mast on take-off.
Getting there
From the N4 about 22km west of Nelspruit, when coming from Johannesburg look for Sudwala Caves road (R539) to your left. Follow this road for approx. 8km then turn right on the Sabie road. After about 7km turn right onto the Schagen road. Follow this well used but slightly rough forestry road up the mountain. Stay right at the first fork then take the first left turn after that all the way to the big cell phone mast. Note that there is no longer access through the chicken farm!
