Take-off description

At the top of the ridge, very easy. Top-landings are possible.

Getting there

Access to the clubhouse is very easy, about 20 min from the nearest highway exit. If you coordinate with club members, train/bus is also possible. Launch access is easy by car, though the road is narrow and twisty and in the winter snow and ice may be present. Generally club members will drive you up so you don't need to worry.

Weather

In high pressure conditions, the right (north) wind comes in often, especially but not limited to the winter season. When it is too strong, try the nearby Kirikabu site (and vice versa).

Rules / airspace

Very relaxed but definitely get in touch with the local club before flying. They will gladly assist you.

Comments

The mountain is a 20 km long, tall, straight, and nearly horizontal ridge so when it's in it's easy to fly and move around anywhere along the ridge.
