Take-off description
Best take off on Klinovec is the steepest slope (U Zabityho) leading to the NE side of the hill. This slope is widest and is not crossed by any cable-lift. If something goes wrong you just follow the slope to the landing place. 1225 meters above sea
Getting there
Take off can be reached by road - it is very close to the top of the Klinovec hill. From the roundabout between Bozi Dar and border crossing to Germany take the road 219 (SE exit). After cca 2km turn right and follow the local directions to 'Klinovec'. Another option is to park the car on the free parking place on the bottom of the northern side of the hilll and use the cable-lift to reach the top of the hill. In summer the lift is operated from 10-17. Price for the cable-lift is 60CZK (cca 2.5EUR)
Weather
As with any 'slope' take-off - watch out for the real direction of the wind, which might be quite different from what you feel on the ground. Just in front of the take of there are 3 wind-mills.
