Take-off description
Launch from the observation deck above the museum. Single-pilot launch; only 1–2 gliders can prepare nearby. You must clear the ravine on the right to enter the ridge lift. Alternatively, you can launch 30 meters to the right past the ravine, one by one from the edge of the slope.
Getting there
Easily accessible by car. There is a parking area right next to the site.
Weather
Suitable wind: South, South-Southeast. Wind speed: base 3–4 m/s, gusts up to 5 m/s (stronger winds make flying unsafe). The site is very challenging in thermal weather. Numerous grey rocks below create intense bubbles, especially in spring and summer. There are two large house thermals: one to the left above the museum, and another in front of the center of the slope above the village. Thermals are strong; it is highly recommended to gain 60–80 meters of altitude in the ridge lift before entering them. Quite turbulent in spring. Not a beginner-friendly site.
