Take-off description

Getting there
When you arrive on the parking of the touristic place 'Pyramide du Nil', take the small road on the left at the end of the parking. After 1000 meters, take a small path (4X4 is needed) on the right during 100 meters. you arrive on the top of the ridge. The path turn 90° on the right, keep going during 100 meters and you arrive by car on the huge takeoff
Weather
Usually the wind is coming from east. Sometimes it can be strong, or like evrywhere else in burundi, the weather can change quickly.
Comments
Local people are use to welcome you and to help you if you need to carry a bag or of you need anything. You can contact Egide (71 56 64 02) or Gelaz (79 27 30 54) who are living near the place if you need any help or tips (They speak french). There is a nice Hôtel to sleep in the small city of Rutovu at 2km : Hôtel Au Coin de la Pyramide). The city of Rutana is at 45 min by car.
