Take-off description
Flat top of grassy hill, suitable for Easterly through to Westerly winds.
Getting there
Drive up to Sherrifmuir from either Bridge of Allan or Dunblane or Greenloaning off the A9. Space for a car at old ruined barn, otherwise park further to South near the reservoir access track. Hill can be approached from either parking spot directly. Be aware of sheep.
Weather
Hilly site, subject to showers etc as usual.
Rules / airspace
Be aware of occassional low flying aircraft.
Comments
A nice convenient site, suitable for quick flights, beginners, and general training. Might be a bit boggy in the landing areas. Do not fly during lambing season. This is usually posted on style at main Dumyat path.
