Take-off description
Launch is at +300meters. Area is covered by very low grass. Flyable wind direction is northeast and eastnorthest. Skill level required is novice and up.
Getting there
From Manila: Ride to Batangas City Port then take ferry boat to Abra de Ilog port. From Abra port hire a tricycle motorbike taxi to Kasay beach resort in Kabignayan. Total about 5 hours.
Weather
This site is good between October and May during the northeasterly wind season.
Rules / airspace
Do not land on planted rice paddies.
Comments
Abra de Ilog is not for beginners. Novice pilots fly early morning or late afternoon.
