Take-off description
Inside a little valley and just front of the 'Sémaphore' you can find the take off (NE-E orientation). It's also possible to take off on the second face of the valley, 5o meters further, with an orientation SE. But be careful : maximum orientation with SE is 125°. Don't fly over that orientation. Generally : Minimum wind fly is 17 km/h. Higher fly are between 25 and 30 km/h Maximum wind fly is 35 km/h. Timing : 12h to 15h.
Getting there
Between 'leucate village' and 'leucate plage' turn the way in direction of the lighthouse. On the top, park your car and walk less than 10 mn long of the cliff to the 'Sémaphore'
Weather
The wind can stop quickly sometimes. You fly 40m up to the top in general. If it's your first time, go landing when you're around 25m high.
Rules / airspace
Fly NE to ESE. Perfect laminar wind with zero surprise. Don't fly under 17 km/h. If you fall down, for your security, it's possible to land on the beach, but it's prohibited. Because it's really small, it's very dangerous for vacationers and you. So, Please respect every body!
Comments
Observe the white-capped waves. They're very important to see the wind force and easy to understand. If they're just front of the beach it's to late. Land before they arrive front of the beach.
