Take-off description
Flat grassy area in front and to the right of the RTE Transmitter.There is a road to the gates of the transmitter and then a dirt road from there on running across the top of the ridge.Beautiful view of the mountains and the sea beyond and the hill can be climbed further above 200 m for a higher takeoff.
Getting there
Follow the road from Donegal town the N56 takes a long route through Ardara leads into Glenties. Follow same route N56 towards Naran close to a petrol station on right side of road take the loughcrillan road up hill until the first t junction.Take a left and follow road until the end and you are there right outside the gates of the transmitter.
