Please be careful. There is sacred Maori land that must be respected, and also some of the neighbours don't like people flying too close to their houses. When the wind is coming from a particular direction, things can also get very turbulent. I personally know of 2 broken backs at this site, and almost killed myself here twice too (by being an idiot). This site is deceptively calm-looking. Please talk to the contacts listed before flying here - they're real friendly. ;)
