Take-off description

650 m AGL. Takeoff QNH: 1030 m . Pretty large grassy field, with some sharp hidden rocks, so be very careful and explore your takeoff path well. A power line is present under the takeoff, but after the takeoff the clearance is very high and safe, but despite that be careful when soaring.

Weather

Don't fly with winds from NW to NE. Don't mess up when strong valley breeze is present. It will not just make your takeoff more difficult (crosswind launch) but may also ruin your flight as well (rotors may be present).

Comments

Celle is usually the winter flying site, when the valley breeze in Valle Susa is not strong and you can soar for hours in dynamics thanks to the southern exposure. In summer it is much more difficult to fly there (strong valley breeze) but it may still be possible in late evenings and days with semitransparent cloud coverage (cirrus). South side of the Rocca della Sella mountain, with a beautiful sight of the mobnestery Sacra di S.Michele, which is on the Monte Pirchiriano peak.
