Take-off description

Getting there
From Boise head into the foot hills on 8th street which turns to dirt. Take 8th st. all the way to the Boise Ridge Rd and take a right about 1.4 miles, park at the very small pull-out, walk 100 yards on foot path through bear-brush to weather station and launch. Note that a gate half-way up 8th st. road prevents access until about mid May, check with NFS.
Comments
Don't mess around if you are not going up, shoot for the road on the far side of the draw. If you don't make it across the draw you will have potential rotor and a hike out to deal with.
