Take-off description
Walk, ski or snowmachine from the Canada Customs/Border parking lot until you get to a slope suitable for launching. There are several directions to choose from.
Getting there
Drive the S. Klondike Hwy to Fraser Station BC. Coming from Whitehorse take a right onto a dirt road before the customs house and drive to the parking area. The 4WD road leaves from there up to a lake where you can hike to a suitable launch.
Weather
Wind can pick up quickly from the south.
Rules / airspace
Bring a passport if you plan to fly into Alaska and have to catch a ride back to Canada.
Comments
Good soaring site year round. Good paramotoring site for trikes equipped with ski kits as well.
