Take-off description
About 100m to the North East of the gondola restaurant. There is a grassy spot on the dirt road that is cleared.
Getting there
Drive to Christchurch Gondola and ride the gondola up only $55 for an annual pass.
Weather
Do not fly in strong winds. Watch the rotor to the west of the knob over the gondola lines in an NE wind. Do not fly if winds are NW
Rules / airspace
Do not fly above 3500ft.
Comments
The site is becoming sensitive. Ensure that you have a NZHGPA license before you fly. The gondola operators will ask you for your membership number.
