Take-off description
This is one of the few North-facing launches we have around Whitehorse. Do not confuse with the Mt. Mac Ski Lodge. To get to the flying site, you need to drive through the gravel pit at Lowbird Road. Follow the gravel road up to Mount Mac, just below the gated tower. Walk to the launch at the left.
Getting there
This is a very rough road suitable for an AWD or a 4x4 vehicle.
Rules / airspace
Near airport. Regular HGAR and CARS rule apply. You must contact tower prior to launching and hold your HGAR certification.
Comments
Suitable for kiting as well as giving a northern launch location.
