Take-off description
Very sensitive site due to proximity of airport. The control tower MUST be contacted by phone (035470799 ext 9)before take off. Obtain briefing from loclal club ( http://www.thgpc.org.nz/ ) or from local pilot.
Getting there
Go with a local pilot or school. Obtain on site briefing.
Weather
Don't fly in winds east of north. Be aware of strengthening sea breeze in summer. Watch for signs of SW winds.
Rules / airspace
Max 500 feet AGL and limits north and south. Contact Control Tower (035479799 ext 9)before taking off.
