Take-off description
Multiple take off locations depending on wind direction. Motorable Road goes up till the village on NW of ridge.
Getting there
From Nashik take off is 35kms. Trimbakeshwar is a very famous holy place. After reaching Trimbak take right turn towards Sapgon phata, take left at Sapgon phata onto Metghar ghat road. This ghat road takes you to multiple take off areas on either side of road depending on wind conditions. Public transport to Trimbakeshwar is available then one can hire taxi to go to metghar ghat road.
Weather
Beware of venturi and rotor areas, electrical poles, wires, barbwire fencings, trenches, rocks. If do not have much height stay away from pinnacles as strong venturi near them. When Passing over table land make sure you have good vertical clearance to keep clear of rotors from cliff side. Afternoons will be quite thermic.
