Grassy fields as marked, or nearby
Getting there
From the parking spot head through a gate, across fields; you quickly reach the open hill side where a short but very steep ascent takes you up to a broad shoulder running from Skiddaw to the summit. You should easily pass through a band of cliffs before reaching the plateau
