Take-off description
There are actually two takeoff fields - one situated towards north-east, and one towards north-west. The north-east field: not a big field but with some upward wind takeoff will be much easier but in any case not for beginners. The western field has slightly smaller slope but more rocks.
Getting there
Easily reachable by car. Take road to Stavrovouni monastery (you will find it on all tourist maps and road signs). Once reached the top of the mountain where is the parking lot of the monastery, walk something like 50m behind the small church on the north side and you will find the takeoff site there.
