Take-off description
Located in San Juan Tlacotenco. Launch is oriented south bound, approximately 700 meters above landing
Getting there
Tepoztlan is located one hour drive south from Mexico City. You can either go by bus or car rental.
Weather
Strong winds and thermals during noon. It is important to launch knowing the wind direction to avoid lee side where you are likely to find rotors.

Comments
The best time to launch is before 11:00am to avoid strong thermal conditions which can be rather rough, specially during summer. You can also flight after 4:00 pm once that stronger winds are dying out. The views are beautiful with interest rock formations and the valley above. If you are lucky you can see the Popo and Izta volcanoes from the distance
