Shellag Point is as great sand cliff site – however please make sure that you contact the farmer before driving up to the field, as from time to time one or more bulls may be in residence. Take-off is from the highest part of the sand cliffs allowing soaring in silky smooth air to Cranstal in the north and down to the south as far as Ramsey where the sand cliffs run out. Expect a long walk back to cars if you bomb out. It's also possible to launch here with a hang glider, though landings need to be made on the beach, preferably near Ramsey or it's a long walk!
