Take-off description
Fantastic Freestyle and dune flying, fantastic low level freestyle. Launch on top of the main front Dune. Works in ESE, SE Winds, If the wind gets strong the launch from the lower bowl on the beach.
Getting there
Perth to Esperance bu road (721 km) or via jetstar (air). Drive to to 1 st turn of past 11 mile beach back on the pink lake road, you need a 4x4 or dif lock utility vehicle. Or drive to 11 mile beach and drive down to the beach and onto the sand alon the beach for 3 km until you can not drive further due to the rocks. Follow the path inland which curve to the left for +/- 300 meters. You are there.
Weather
NE, NNE, N, NNW, NW, WNW, W, WSW, SSW, S is NOT flyable. Only ESE, SE, SSE is flyable. Go to Orservation-High ridge (light wind) and Salmon beach-Low ridge (Strong Wind) is the wind is S, SSW, SW. Helfire Bay (Low Ridge) in the Nature 47 km east of esperance reserve is also flyable in E, ESE, SSE.
