Club pilot and above. Over 100 flights of prior experience is strongly recommended due to conditions which are frequently turbulent. Many have been scared at Cloudy. Cloudy Hills offers a different way to fly the Pat Sin range without the aggravation of the 1.5-hour walk. But there is a difference in the wind direction needed at take-off, with Pat Sin being much more accommodating. Scott Ligertwood and Ah-Fai are most familiar with this site which they have flown very often. Several other pilots are not very enthusiastic, mostly for mishaps that have occurred when attempting to fly when the wind is not SE (SW will not do). It's often cloudy at Cloudy Hills. Good luck!
