From Kota Kinabalu, take Tung Ma Express Bus to Keningau town (rm15/2 hours). Then from Keningau town to flying site, call site manager (0194786717) for more info
Meteo
wind pattern over keningau valley is unpredictable. Different wind direction at take off and LZ is normal. Watch windsock carefully before do final approach. Ask local pilot before flying here. This site is different!
Normativa / espacio aéreo
Free air space but sometimes military and chartered helicopter will land at keningau old airport nearby. No cloud flying, night flying. VHF Radio is compulsory. This is private site, need permission and some site fee to fly here. Everyone can fly, no discrimination, no bullies, no politic!

Captain Azizan found this site at teh end of 2015 during his epic ppg flight from Papar to Keningau crossing Crocker Mountain Range pretty big take but sometimes crosswind rules, must be able take off cross wind to fly here. Thermal started at 9 am in sunny day! Big thermal over big water tank! Not for newbie, PL1 pilot need guide!
