Descripción del despegue
The takeoff is on the mountain ridge North of Tirhmi fairly close to a mast which is visible from the town. There are a few takeoff options, but the main one is about 100m East of the junction in the track once it reaches the top of the ridge where there is a small village.(see photos)
Cómo llegar
Tirhmi is on the road between Tiznit and Tafraoute. The site is reached by a track of the main road just on the East side of Tirhmi. Coming from Tiznit, one passes through the town of Tirhmi, and turn left on to a track by a white concrete block by the side of the road. (see photo). It is possible to drive on the track with a two wheel drive car as long as it has reasonable ground clearence and is not too heavily loaded,as the gradient going up the ridge is quite steep in parts. It take about 45 minutes from Tiznit to Tirhmi centre, and then another 20 minutes to drive up the ridge to takeoff.
Meteo
When the thermals start to work, wind direction can change quickly on the ridge and one needs to be careful to watch this when launching.

Comentarios
This site faces approx South, but there are parts which face more South West. it is possible to soar the ridge in the right conditions, but the site is more suited to thermal flying over the valley when they kick off in the afternoon. At the end of the afternoon on hot days, restitution can be found over the valley.
