Descripción del despegue
Piramide Vincent is one of the easiest high-altitude hike&fly sites. The summit is smooth snow covered spherical mountain top, and can be used to takeoff in all directions. Since it is covered by ice and snow, its shape can be different each year, and taking off in some specific directions can get more difficult.
Cómo llegar
The access is from Mantova or Gnifetti refuge, where one can stay the nigh before the ascent to the takeoff. The walk itself is easy, however it is a glacier walk from 3600 and up, with crevaces etc, hence one must have rampons, ice-axe, and rope-up with the climbing buddy. Do not attemt to go there alone if you do not have prior mountaineering and glacier experience. Take the basic snow/glacier training, and go together with a more experienced pilot or climber!
