Descripción del despegue

HG and PG flyable, however more convenient for PG as there is a hike to launch from the top parking lot. 20 minute hike or so. There used to be a HG ramp on the second peak to the right from the Lookout Towers, long since gone. Launch either next to the antennas, or where the HG ramp used to be. A grassy area good for launching available as well.

Cómo llegar

Local HG pilots are few but apparently access to open the gates to drive to the top and to the bottom for retrieval is possible through local contacts.

Meteo

Takes WSW-W-WNW winds. Due to its position, the sun heats the slopes of the ridge later in the day and it's not a primarily ridge soaring site (even if it can be soared when the wind is right) so, generally, later launches are rewarded with better flights due to better thermal formation.
