Descrizione del decollo
500m after Kate Kearneys Cottage is a Walking track up the Reeks ridge. (if you reach the bridge then you have missed the track) Follow this to the single tall tree that you can see on the crest of the ridge. take off near this tree. It is at least 30mins from the bottom of the track to the take off area (walking). There is no access for vehicles to the take off area.
Come arrivare
From Killarney go West and then turn off and follow signs for 'GAP OF DUNLOE' Plenty parking by Kate Kearneys pub. walk from here.
Meteo
Beware of winds increasing suddenly in this part of the southwest of ireland. The wind up the Gap of Dunloe will be stronger than you expect it to be.

A rarely visited site as easier access is available at Rosbeigh with the same direction. Appealing to this site is access to the High MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountains.
