huge, easy Other TO 'Courchon' at N43.84278, E6.23028, 905m available: rather flat, stony: not so easy in low winds
Accès
Take the D952 out of Moustiers towards Riez. The road climbs up a series of bends, after which there is a turning on the right-hand side that is signed Navette from LZ (Venasque) normally at 1045, 1645) (price: 6EUR/ pers in 2013) It is possible to drive almost to TO, park when you arrive at the 'fence', afterwards it's hardcore 4x4
Météo
Breeze coming from the lake (west) and could be strong in summer. In summer between 1300-1700 it can get very strong/ bumpy - beware of eventual dust devils at LZ. Very sweet site: you can stay on the crest in local thermal or go on the front, on flat land XC. If you want adventure, go in your back, Saint André direction ;-) but coming back by road is a little bit difficult! And your family can have good time on the Sainte Croix lake (beach) or in Verdon valley (climbing, rafting, walking...)
