Flat area right on the edge of the ridge.

Lots of rotor on lifting your wing, and a sharp lift/rotor spike 50 meters to your right after launch.

Nil, but caution the low-level VFR traffic between NZWK and NZTG.

You MUST telephone the owner before arriving. Barry 07 5332298. DO NOT turn up unannounced! This is a nice ol' couples lovely back yard, so be cool. ;) Park ON THE ROAD WELL CLEAR of any driveway entrance. You may drive a load of gear to the top of the driveway, unload it, and then PARK THE CAR ON THE ROAD! The owners' house is at the top of the long driveway, on the left. His name is Barry.
