Description du décollage

You can take off from two grassy fields: - first located on the left (two meters above promenade), after launch be aware of barriers, stick close to the trees, gain height and jump over big oak to the big cliff on the right - second located on the right close to the monument, use a lot of power to forward launch (you will need it because there is rotor close to the ground) go through promenade between the trees. Its better choice when it is hard to start from the TO on the left (lower wind speeds) Watch out for people crossing by!

Réglementation / espace aérien

ask locals on take off: the pilot with lower altitude has higher priority to fly closer to the cliff. The pilots who fly higher should respect that rule to avoid turbulences from wings flying at lower altitude. In case of the same altitude, use right hand rule. Takeoff is located in MCTR Airspace (active military airport nearby), before takeoff local club member should get permission from aircontrol of EPOK airport. 2m radio (146.025), licence and insurance required.

Lower takeoff site at Orłowo, approx. 10m high. Allows ridge soaring along the cliff.
