Description du décollage
This site takes a SW to a W (certain sections can been flown in a SSW e.g the dunes to the far north, but not worth the effort). Go there if the bom is registering 10-17 kts at the Ocean Reef weather station and at least 9 kts at Hillarys, over 17 kts you need a mini wing or you risk being blown back. You don't want to be blown back as there are heaps of snakes, rocks and fences there. To launch - go down to the beach, ground handle your wind up, then walk up the dune into the lift zone and push off (don't go too far up the dune or you will been dragged back over the dune). Stay in front of the dunes to be safe.
